Oh No! They are still stuck and had had to get out and pull it to shore!!!

While watching them float down stream we decided tothrow in a line forAbbey to try and catch a fish.  she held the pole and caught a fish, and reeled it in.

She had so much fun and was so proud of herself!

She is growing up so fast I just can’t believe it.  She is now 2 1/2 years old.

After, catching a fish she decided she wanted to ride in the motorboat! (canoe)  Jen Derek and Uncle Morgan took her for a ride and she absolutely loved it. Thanks Guys for taking her on her first canoe ride.

What a great weekend!

Over the weekend!

We headed to Island Park to go camping with weekend with the family. This was a blast, the weather was beautiful and the bugs were everywhere but other than that it was great! We went down to the river and hung out by the water. Abbey’s shoe floated down stream and we went to chase it when abber’s rolled off the dock and landed face first in the water (it was about a foot deep.) she was so sad and I was screaming and scared because it was in the river. Well needless to say, she was fine and tried getting in the water again. Then we went back to camp and made dinner and hung out around the camp fire and inside the trailer to avoid being eaten alive by the mosquitoes.

4th of July

Well, what can I say, this might be my new favorite holiday. Truly, it is a holiday to celebrate the freedoms we have and the chance to do whatever we choose. I am grateful for all the men and women who are fighting or who have fought to keep us free.  I have one cousin who is in active duty, and one who is in Kuwait, boy am i grateful for their sacrifices for me and my family. What a wonderful country we live in. Thank You BJ and Steven for all that you do!!!! We love you guys and are proud of you!

To celebrate our independence we started out the morning with the Rexburg parade, but i was setting a booth up for cookie lee and missed the whole parade. Abbey and Tyler watched part of it, but there was not a milk truck this year so they were sad! We stayed at Porter Park until 2pm, and then went to Ty’s parents and had a great family dinner, the ribs were wonderful, and it was just fun! After dinner we headed to Idaho Falls to watch the fireworks on the greenbelt. They always have a great show.  For a couple hours before the show started we went to hang out with dan and marilyn and josh oh yeah Dan’s family too! They rented a hotel room on the belt, so we took the kids swimming and just spent time catching up. We miss hanging out with them.  Then we all headed down to the river to watch the fireworks. here are just a few of my favorite shots from the show.
