Well in the last 6 weeks we have been so crazy. So here is an update. I spent almost the whole month of August in my classroom or at meetings. It was a real treat but i sure could not wait to have my students come. The school was empty until the arrived Monday, August 25th. Boy was i nervous, It turned out wonderful, the first day went by so fast and my class grew from 21 to 24 the first week. I went home Monday night so tired but my hubby cooked a nice meal and it was so nice to come home and relax.  I went to school the next morning to received my first gift from my students. It was from the girls that i felt like i really did not connect with. I knew then that I was so excited to be teaching.

The week sped by and we went camping near Heber city. My little brother has a moose tag and was out looking for Bullwinkle. Well right near where we camped bullwinkle lived. We would spend hours outside just looking at him. He was amazing to watch. Tyler and Grant and Mont, woalked down near him. ” The joke was that you just had  to be faster than one other person,” Itturned out to be a blast. We stayed in an area called Currant creek!

The Hunt starts on Saturday morning  Sept. 13th. I hope my brother gets one. He deserves it. Tyler abbey and I will head up the mountain on Friday after I get off work. we are very excited to spend time with my family.

It has been wonderful to be closer to them. We have seen them 3 times since we have lived in SLC.

Well I will start my third week of school tomorrow, I hope it will be as good as it has been. I start teaching Art to 100 3rd graders this week and Also science to  50 of them. I have alot of fun things planned.

OH so i have to tell you about last Thursday. I went to make a transparency  and it melted in the copy machine. (so needless  to say I broke the machine) what a great way to start off the year!!!.
