Christmas Day!
Christmas Day stated around 8:30 A.M. Abbey woke up and said ” it is my birthday!” ” oh I wonder if Santa made it” well she ran downstairs and said he did he did. I got my Handy Manny workshop. Well it was wrapped, she just saw a large wrapped box and thought that is was it. She was so fun this year. We celebrated Christmas then we had Breakfast and relaxed for a bit. Then we went to Aunt Sue’s for Dinner and to Celebrate Abbey’s Birthday. It was so fun. She is the sweetest little girl ever.
Christmas Eve Fun
Well today started early! Abbey got a pink cast and wanted it off before we even left the doctor’s office. She will have it on until January 15th. 3weeks is not terrible at all. I am really glad that she has the hard cast on. She was so rough with all the uncles today. She had everyone sign her cast today. Her arm is so little that is is almost full. She is so sweet.
Next we came home and cleaned for Grandpa Ed to fly in from Minnesota. She was so excited to see him. It was really great to see him. We are excited to have him here for a week.
We did some last minute shopping and cleaning.
Abbey is so excited to turn 4 . This makes me sad, to think that my little girl is growing up so fast.
We headed to Aunt Sue’s house for dinner and to hang out. it was an enjoyable night. Abbey tracked Santa. She went to bed as soon as Santa got to Oklahoma. When her friend Savannah and Mackenzie got Santa at their house. (they are her cousins)
She laid out milk (Chocolate ) and 3 Oreo cookies for Santa. He ate all of them but a small Crumb. I think She will giggle in the morning. Here is a few pictures we took tonight. Dad had already gone to bed.
Abbey arm!
Well it happened! Abbey finally broke her arm. Her and Uncle Grant
we playing on the Love Sac! Need I say more. Abbey flew high in the air and landed on her left hand. She whimpered for alittle bit then was fine. It is call a radius buckle fracture. She is crazy as ever still. She has a splint on until Monday, then she will get a hard cast. She wants purple. She is so tough. I just love her so much. It is so sad for me to see her in pain, and hurt. I am so proud of her! Love ya Abbey.
Abbey’s 4th Birthday Party
Today Abbey woke up so excited to celebrate her birthday. She was very sad that her legs had not grown and that she was not a big sister. She is so excited to be a “Big sister” she is going to be a great one too. I gave her a new shirt for her birthday shirt, she was so sweet. Mommy thank you for my new shirt. I am so proud of the sweet little girl that whe is becoming.
For her party we decided to venture to Jumping Jacks in West Jordan. She invited 10 friends, we had a blast. The kids jumped for an hour and a half then, we had pizza and cupcakes. She absolutely loved everyone singing to her. Then, she opened presents. She had fun. The kids headed back outto the jumping toys, for another hour.
Tyler and I really enjoyed seeing her interacting with other children. She is a wonderful daughter. We are truly blessed to have such a sweet little girl to call ours. I can’t beleive that my little girl is turning 4.
Christmas Day is a special day for more than one reason. Abbey decided that she wanted to enter the world 4 years ago Christmas Day. My water broke at 3:00 AM. Everyone told me to go back to sleep. I TOLD Tyler get me to the Hospital, I am having this baby TODAY. 12 hours later we had out little pumpkin, she was beautiful, little and sweet. She was taken to the NICU, and we did not get to see her for 4 hours. It was a day that will always be in my mind. I am thankful to all those who have helped us out over the years, been great examples to us and influenced our wonderful daughter.
Abbey has started to realize that her Birthday is also Jesus’s Birthday. She is excited to share this special day with our Lord and Savior. I am greatful for this time of the year.
Happy Birthday Abigail Paige Steiner!
