Modern Warfare 2 sucakge
Friday, February 26, 2010, 12:07 AM - Rants
Dear Infinity Ward and Activision, whichever is to blame.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is at the core of the game, a good game. It has all the good parts of a COD based games. It has good, solid gameplay.

That being said. I HATE it! What on earth were you thinking when the retards you call execs made the decision to do what was done. I will get to the list shortly. I am a PC gamer, and as such i expect to have my PC games live up to a standard. Without sounding snooty i would dare say that PC gamers are a more adept and tech savvy than console gamers. No one would argue with me if i said it was easier to start a console game than to chew gum. That is their design, to be dummy proof. Fine, let the dummies play their consoles. I have to ask... WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY ARE YOU DUMBING DOWN MY PC GAMES?!?!! WHY!!!!? I do NOT want a lobby system. I want a server, with people, people that can come and go without dicking the game up. If i wanted to be treated like a damn retard, i would buy an xbox. (no offense xbox'ers)

the controversial decisions made around the PC version of the game were made in order to benefit the consumer experience as much as possible.

Those decisions include removing all dedicated servers and user-generated content, as well as halving the maximum number of players supported in the game.

W T F!!! Ya, its much better now. Thanks for no custom... ANYTHING. Thanks for letting the cheaters go rampant. Its great, i love it!

Did anyone mention that there is a petition with over 250,000 signature to get dedicated servers in place? Their response..

Mouse control!? Really?! no way! So what your saying is "Yes, its the same"
Moriarte: Ignoring, is the PC version a direct port of the console version?

Mackey-IW: No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings.

-Good gameplay
-Nice graphics

-"Dumbed down"
-no dedicated servers
-no moderation
-rampant cheating
-Lobby system
-no customization
-"Cheap" PC version
-Lack of caring from Mike Griffith
-User hosted matches
-host migration

I found these amusing: ... Blog01.jpg
* confirmation that there will be no dedicated servers whatsoever How outstandingly fucking retarded of them.

Q. Is it true that IW has removed keyboard support? do I have to use a console controller? A. yes, we felt that because so many people who can't read play games, that we would simplify the control scheme to exclude any complicated characters besides Y B A and X, or X, square, triangle and circle in the case of the PS3.

The straw that broke the camels back...
Thursday, April 9, 2009, 10:23 PM - Rants
So i have been contemplating the removal of my hotmail account. After all, its crap. gmail offer so many more options that are fast, COMPATIBLE, and easy, but i have been putting it off for a while not wanting to move everyone around. After all i've had my hotmail account for over 11 years now.

I only have a couple people who still e-mail me on that account, mostly people who i havnt talked to in years. Well a friend of mine sent me an e-mail last night, and i wrote him back. Tonight i went to see if i got a reply and i was greeted with this crap.

You don't have an inbox...yet
Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail and get a free, customizable inbox with lots of storage and great security.

Note: Whether you use Hotmail or not, you can always go to your contact list.

There is a constant loop. It says "You don't have an inbox... yet." The only option given is to "Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail". When I click that there is an option that says "Already a Hotmail..... member? Click here." This link simply brings me back to point A where it says "You don't have an inbox... yet."

Yes, this brings joy to my soul. Joy! After some hunting i found i was not alone with this. ... 947AAFDqrW

If my inbox ever returns, i will be doing an official migrate to gmail. Sorry Microsft, but you've dicked me over for the last time. If you refuse to live by the worlds standards (, then i refuse to use your products.

Farewell hotmail, you wont be missed.

DIY tattoo kit!!
Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 11:28 PM - Rants
Heh, on a shopping trip to TJMax (for my wife, i would never go there without her) i was wondering around with abbey trying to find something to entertain both of us. The toy section looked inviting. While i was trying to Abbey from opening too many toys, i saw something that caught my attention, a tattoo kit!

I was like, WTF! So i took a picture. Honestly, who buys this crap for their kids? Are they going to come out with DIY piercing kits next? "Hey kids! Now you can piece your butt for fun!" YAY!!

If any of you would like to purchase this fine item, give me a call and i will run over and buy it for you, because i'm sure its still sitting there.

I had the pleasure of downloading a new DVD image and was excited to try it out on my laptop. I slap a blank DVD-R in the drive and hit burn.... but wait, its saying i don't have a disc in the drive... :s
Long story short, my drive no longer recognizes dvd'd...r, rw, commercial... anything. The cd's still work fine, so i am thinking the DVD laser has crapped out on it.

I went to the Cendyne webpage (its a NEC-1400 DVD writer repackaged as a cendyne drive) and look what i found
Cendyne will no longer provide support for product purchased prior to 3/17/2006. If you are within this warranty period, have an open incident, or open RMA our technical support staff will respond to your inquiries using our online technical support form.

the date changes everyday to reflect the current day, so basicly they are saying that the second you walk of the store, its no longer supported. I will not be buying anything from them ever again.

As a result of the drive dying, it was the straw that broke the camels back... and a whole new setup is in the near future.

Farewell DVD-RW, you will be missed (until i get my new one). Thank you for the many hundreds of DVD's you have burned for me, not to mention the many more spindles of CD's burned for me too.
